In the heart of Peru’s central rainforest, among mountains rising between 1,200 and 1,850 masl, grows the coffee that gives life to INCAN FORESTS, a project guided by the vision of Félix Marín, a producer dedicated to preserving the coffee-growing essence of Chanchamayo.
This origin has been formed through the continuous work of families who, for generations, have cultivated coffee with practices that honor the land and uphold the region’s culture. Their commitment has allowed this coffee to reach Europe, the United States and Oceania, carrying the identity of its origin to new markets.
Today, KUSI Trade works alongside INCAN FORESTS as their representative, helping share this story with the world and strengthening the connection between origin and consumer.
An origin rooted in community
INCAN FORESTS is supported by a diverse network of farmers located across native and settler communities in the Chanchamayo area. These are families who have transformed coffee cultivation into inherited knowledge built on techniques that seek harmony between productivity, environmental respect and quality.
Its varieties, including Caturra, Typica, Catuai, Geisha, Catimores and Sarchimor, grow under natural shade within agroforestry systems that protect biodiversity and preserve the forest. The project also works with washed, natural and honey processes, allowing each farmer’s style and the character of the territory to express themselves through unique flavor profiles.
A landscape that shapes flavor
The soil, climate and altitude define the character of Peruvian coffee. In Chanchamayo, volcanic soils, balanced rainfall and stable temperatures create ideal conditions for a bean that is aromatic, complex and naturally sweet. Its flavor reflects the territory from which it comes, carrying depth and identity in every cup.
A coffee meant to travel
For KUSI Trade, representing INCAN FORESTS means ensuring that every stage, from origin to the final customer, maintains coherence with the identity and values behind the coffee. Our work focuses on communicating the origin, strengthening the value proposition and accompanying the brand as it grows in new markets.
Because coffee does not begin in the cup.
It begins here, among the families, mountains and forests that have nurtured Peruvian coffee for more than 80 years.
